Hillel is extremely invested in student well-being. College can be both stressful and exciting, and Hillel wants to provide our students with all the resources they need to be healthy, happy, and successful. That includes students who attend CSU Sacramento (Sac State). This page also has information about the Jewish Life and Resource Center.

Jewish Life and Resource Center at Sac State

Our center is equipped with couches, study areas, and access to the outdoor patio.

Hours: Wednesday (1:00-6:00 pm) and Thursday (10:00-6:00 pm) during the school year.

Jewish Faculty and Staff (JFAST) Employee resource group

The Jewish Faculty and Staff Employee Resource Group is dedicated to creating a space in which Faculty, Staff, and Managers who identify as Jewish and their allies may congregate to network and build community. Together, JFAST informs the campus on issues related to Jews at Sac State, hosts joyous events centered around the Jewish calendar, joins together to advocate when necessary, and serves as a support for Jewish-identifying students.

CSUS student health, counseling, and wellness services (SHCWS)

Our Student Health, Counseling and Wellness center provides an integrated approach for care. Our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals fosters an inclusive culture that addresses systemic disparities and creates an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel respected, valued, and are provided with equitable access to quality care. SHCWS staff are committed to continuously providing exceptional service for our campus community.

The Pride center

The PRIDE Center provides students looking for a connection to campus with programs and events, access to resources on campus and in the community, a welcoming space, and opportunities for education about LGBTQ communities and the intersections of many identities and experiences. The PRIDE Center exists to create and maintain a campus environment that is open, safe, and supportive of student diversity in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.

the Women's Resource Center (WRC)

The WRC cultivates a safe space where students can be empowered and affirmed. The WRC provide various resources and services to women-identifying students and allies. Our programming challenges sexism, socialized gender roles, and the patriarch. The WRC also focus on gender identity issues and offer a platform for discussions with a feminist lens.

Disability Access Center (DAC)

Working collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators, Disability Access Center (DAC) provides a wide range of academic accommodations that ensure disabled students have equal educational access. The front office staff is available, during regular business hours, to answer general questions in person or by phone at (916) 278-6955.

Basic Needs Resources

The Basic Needs webpage provides a variety of resources to meet the housing, food and financial needs of students. Sac State students experiencing challenges with food access, housing, or finances have resources available in a time of need. For general support with accessing resources in Sacramento County, please call 2-1-1, which is a free confidential information and referral service that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

peer and academic resource center (Parc)

PARC's mission is to promote the scholastic achievements of students through enriched and supportive peer-learning opportunities that aid students along the pathway to degree attainment. PARC utilizes a relatively untapped resource at the University: the talented and knowledgeable students who serve as Peer Advisors and Peer Tutors.
